So after I got Robin on the plane back to Perth, I started home in that crazy thick fog we had on the night of the 1st! I was so freaked out!!! I got out of Calgary and BAM shifty fog, and it steadily got worse and worse, by the time I hit the 550 going to Rosemary I wasn't sure where I was at times, couldn't even see the ditch that was right beside me! But not to worry I obviously got home ok, because I am here writing on my blog, again for the third time today!
Robin got into Sydney and called me to say he missed his flight to Perth and that his bags were still in Vancouver! Since he was flying back to Perth when the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics were ending, so many people going through that airport I am surprised that both of his bags found their way to Perth!
Robin was finally home and getting use to the time change, so that he could get back to work, and what does his work decide but to put him on forced days off!! SERIOUSLY!!! He could have been in Canada still spending time with me and with our family! So he has been there getting more of my paperwork done, which I suppose is a good thing, that way I can get down under faster!!!

March 1 = Craziness
So.... after the wedding, we had a busy monday, on March 1, 2010. We woke up, went to the bank and did all the paper work, then we left there and went to Rosemary for my grandpa Halls funeral, getting dressed and doing my make-up so that when we got there we were both ready. After the burial, we booted it back into Brooks where we went to visit more family before we had to run to Calgary, yes Calgary. Since Robin had to fly back to Perth, without me :( sad sad day. Only reason is because my visa paperwork was not completed over there.
Crazy day that was!
Crazy day that was!
A New Start
Well here we go, I figured that we should start a blog, so that this way everyone can keep up to speed on our many adventures in Australia!! Hope you all enjoy!
So Robin and I got married on February 27,2010, and what a perfect day it was! The ceremony was at 1pm at the Brooks LDS Church. Everyone was asking me all the time if I was nervous, "just excited!" is all I could say to them. Anyways, so I had the privilege of both my dads walking me down the isle, it was a tight squeeze since the space between the isle was small, but either way they both gave me away to my love. Once I was up there Robin took hold of both my hands, and held on tight, I was thinking it was because he was scared that I would run away, but later on I found out that someone in my family told him that I faint at weddings. Lets get this straight, I fainted at my SISTERS wedding, it was at least plus 30 degrees celcius outside. So he kinda got worried that I would faint at our own wedding, in which he was hanging tight so that if I did faint he would be there to catch me.... aaaaawwwww isn't that cute!!
Well the day progressed with lots of photos being taken at Robins dads house with the antique packards, we did family photos out there as well as some of just us by ourselves. Next we ran out to our friends place, were my horse San Dee was, my main goal for the day was to get some awesome photos with my baby. Robin wouldn't let me ride for some reason, he kept saying it had something to do with me not getting off the horse. Next we were off to the atrium, were we had more family photos, and some of just us. Then the reception, had a wonderful dinner of roast beef, potatoes and veggies! MMMMMMM yummy!! The desert was delicous as well, cheesecake, I can't remember what kind, in fact the whole day is more of a blur than anything. We did cut the cake and I guess I was more playful than my new husband, since I got it all over his face, and he didn't try to get icing on my face, I bet it is because we was being gentleman, which is sweet. The night went on with the bouquet toss, garter toss and the dances of course. Robins friend Wayne caught the garter and his girlfriend Tabitha caught the flowers, so of course everyone had to give Wayne a hard time.
As I said the day was a blur, but it was perfect, because at the end of the day, I was Mrs. Oliver, and that is all that mattered.
