Well, things have been great here so far, its getting apparently "colder", the low at nights is -1 celsius and highs during the day has been anywhere from +15 - +20 celsius, the ladies at church think that I am crazy that I wear no stockings, and a short sleaved shirt. I have had to learn about public transportation! I have never had to take a bus before, so it was very scary, but exciting at the same time. I took the bus downtown to the Every Womens Expo, which was pretty fun, it was a good way to learn about what the city has to offer.
Other than that I have been at home, trying to think of things to make for dinner, but I have been running out of ideas!

Australia.... Lots To Do & See
Well, I finally made it to Australia to be with my husband, and I haven't had time to stop and blog, now that my husband is back to work I have time to stop and blog away! I have been here for two weeks now, and we have been to two beaches, first one was Cottesloe beach.
The second one was Scarborough Beach which was lovely, the surfers were out doing their stuff, both Robin & I would love to learn how to surf!

Robin was such a sweet heart, we took me to a surpise picnic to Kings Park, which is a lovely park that was dedicated to those who lost their lives to the Japanese, they have also have made it into bontanic garden. Many different plants & trees there, as well as different brids.

My Love of The Alberta Prairies
Well, in a week from today, May 19,2010, I will be flying across the big pond to Australia, so my last week here I have been going out to my favorite places in Alberta with my horse and my adopted parents (Doug & Linda). I Love how peaceful and quiet the prairies can be, and how I feel more connected to my lovely mare (San Dee) She is an amazing horse, with quite the instinct about sick cows & calves, mostly the little baby calves. Its a great place to go and think knowing that there is nothing but cows to distract you from what you are thinking. I love being with Doug & Linda, they are both a wealth of knowledge and know so much about horses & cattle alike, I have learned so much from them in the past year. I will really miss being out there, checking cows, roping sick calves & treating HUGE bulls! I wish that I could continue learning from them and teaching San Dee more about roping and cows, even though she is a natural at it! I will miss this the most (besides my nephew & new neice!) I will miss being able to go ride all day and not have to worry about anything else. I know it will all be here when I get back, but It will be hard to leave it behind for now. So I hope my fantastic husband will be able to keep me entertained for a while! But we all know that I will be on the hunt for a stable in Perth for me to keep me busy!

Still Here & Waiting!
Well it is true, I am still in Canada waiting for my husband to get his butt back to shore, so that I can fly over the big pond and be able to walk into my new home with my new husband. I think my patience is wearing thin. It has been over two months since we saw each other, at the wedding. I guess it is better than six months :)

SERIOUSLY!!
So after I got Robin on the plane back to Perth, I started home in that crazy thick fog we had on the night of the 1st! I was so freaked out!!! I got out of Calgary and BAM shifty fog, and it steadily got worse and worse, by the time I hit the 550 going to Rosemary I wasn't sure where I was at times, couldn't even see the ditch that was right beside me! But not to worry I obviously got home ok, because I am here writing on my blog, again for the third time today!
Robin got into Sydney and called me to say he missed his flight to Perth and that his bags were still in Vancouver! Since he was flying back to Perth when the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics were ending, so many people going through that airport I am surprised that both of his bags found their way to Perth!
Robin was finally home and getting use to the time change, so that he could get back to work, and what does his work decide but to put him on forced days off!! SERIOUSLY!!! He could have been in Canada still spending time with me and with our family! So he has been there getting more of my paperwork done, which I suppose is a good thing, that way I can get down under faster!!!

March 1 = Craziness
So.... after the wedding, we had a busy monday, on March 1, 2010. We woke up, went to the bank and did all the paper work, then we left there and went to Rosemary for my grandpa Halls funeral, getting dressed and doing my make-up so that when we got there we were both ready. After the burial, we booted it back into Brooks where we went to visit more family before we had to run to Calgary, yes Calgary. Since Robin had to fly back to Perth, without me :( sad sad day. Only reason is because my visa paperwork was not completed over there.
Crazy day that was!
